Which project have you had the most issues with so far and what could you have done to improve?

Hybrids

I had little to no issues with this project due to it easy accessibility.

Personal inspiration Project

I had minor issues with thinking of what inspirational person to choose and what to write.

Animation

I had no issues with his one as most of it were my lack of skill.

What is one area/skill you feel you would like to improve on the most during your FMP?

I would like to improve my animation skills in adobe animate the most, along with learning how to use effects more in photoshop.

FMP Evaluation-Digital Animation

Journey

  1. What is your final piece? (description of it) What influenced you to do this as your final product?

MY final piece is a digital stop motion animation that I made in Adobe Animate.
This technique is called stop motion as it uses frames using - the frames are the time of events that are occurring.
My animation uses simple line drawings and original characters.

I made this as my final product due to watching shows, animations, games and characters that I like.
I created my own original characters with inspiration from those examples to create this short animation about journey.

  1. Discuss and record your ideas and opinions and how they developed (did you change the idea, why?)

I wanted to improve my animation skills with this project
I learned how to use the camera effectively and how to slide in objects and characters into frame.

My aim was to create a digital and physical outcome which I have achieved during this project.

Though I do wish I had planned more so I could have had a better quality and longer animation.

  1. What went well with the product? How well did you complete the product? What standard is it? Does it communicate your ideas well? How/why?

I consider my project went well, because the animation has a beginning and ending, while also communicating the concept of a journey.

I was able to complete this because I focused on what I wanted to do in quickest and most effective way possible way.

  1. What went less well? Is it messy? Not what you wanted? Not finished? Why do you think this happened?

I believe everything went well; however, I did not quite get the result I 100% wanted and had to make cuts to accommodate how much time I had left. So, I didn’t take weeks to finish.

  1. If you were to repeat the process again, what would you do differently and why?

If I were to repeat this process again, I would plan ahead next time, and improve my artwork skills to draw faster and more productively to not have to redraw certain frames again and again.

Evaluation-FMP Physical Artwork

Journey

  1. What is your final piece? (description of it) What influenced you to do this as your final product?

My final piece is a movie poster which is based off the Animation I was making in my Digital animation outcome for for my FMP.

I made this as my final product due to watching shows, animations, games and characters that I like.
I then took them as inspiration, created my own character and decided to draw him and make it look like he was in a movie poster

  1. Discuss and record your ideas and opinions and how they developed (did you change the idea, why?)

I wanted to improve my art skills with this project. I didn’t learn anything new, but I did learn how to trace better and use geometric shapes to my advantage.

My aim was to create a digital and physical outcome which I have achieved during this project.

Though I do wish I had planned more so could have added much more to the poster and glued everything down.

  1. What went well with the product? How well did you complete the product? What standard is it? Does it communicate your ideas well? How/why?

I think the poster looked great and the border around it looks great, along with the character and logo.

I think this communicates the concept of a journey well with the character in the middle being a representative of that, especially with it paired with my Digital MP outcome, which is an animation.

  1. What went less well? Is it messy? Not what you wanted? Not finished? Why do you think this happened?

I think the artwork of my character went well, along with the look of the border, though I do I wish I could have stuck it down along with colouring my character and the logo, though I didn’t have enough time to do so.

  1. If you were to repeat the process again, what would you do differently and why?

If I were to do this process again, I would plan more ahead and make sure everything I do is just right, so I won’t have to redo certain steps again.
